LIGHTING AND TEXTURING

COLOUR

For my scene I collected several images to dress up my scene and provide some detail.

For the colour I used a shade of orange like my reference material as my base colour.

It gives an old school “worn out” feel to the scene and I wanted to keep that from the Up reference.  

BAG

For the bag I wanted to keep it blue to make it stand out of the scene. The punching bag. I textured it with the Fenech Logo form my own punching bag. I made the blue more saturated to make it stand out of the scene.

OLD SCHOOL POSTERS

Some of the details I noticed in the creed scene was that there were several old school boxing posters hanging on the wall. I collected a range of old boxing posters and began to place them around my scene.

The idea is to have them against the walls, essentially decorating the space and making it feel more “lived in”.

  

LIGHTING

For the lighting, I placed a window on the left side of the gym, allowing a light to glow through the scene.

I wanted to have a morning light shining through the gym as if the character has sneaked in when no one is there.

For the light colour I used a golden yellow to illustrate a morning glow.
