REFERENCE

Once I had decided on my frames and the drawings were looking good I wanted to do some research into designing the space for my scene.

I looked at various sources to find out how a boxing gym is laid out gym and what items can be found in a gym.  

I looked at movies, images and documentaries. I looked at other projects which were similar to mine, some wireframe shots of specific models.  Here are a few shots of some of my research.

 Also some shots of some not so glamorous gym set ups. All of these were useful for coming up with ideas for my own space.

 These all helped me with the layout ideas and some of the practical details like lighting and equipment set up.

I also took photos of my own equipment so I could better model them in my scene.

 The following photos are from  my own equipment.

This would help a lot for the next phase which is the modelling and blocking out of the scene.

The logos and colours I will use for the texturing phase.
